We can all survive alone, if you can share your life and be happy all the better. I have had and continue to have ups and down, otherwise life would be rather flat and boring. I try to stay healthy, active and rather be outdoors but unfortunately can't yet retire as I have commitments.

Is it too much to ask anyone to embrace that I have Bulldogs that not only require everything from me but are in return grateful and happy to bond with me and keep me balanced.
To be fair you need to understand after a long career in the Military that comes with scars but not any that creates agression but doesn't mean I'm a door mat. Also a male in his mid 50s is going to have aging issues.
I take part in Charity hikes, would be an advantage if you were of similar interest in being away and outdoors seeing scenic UK from many views.
I use the gym to continue my journey in Powerlifting and Rowing to stay fit but also boost my coping strategies. You don't have to join me in those sports but an interest in the gym would be good.
Not saying you can't have your own hobbies either.
