About him
Not really, but now I have your attention, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dave, I'm a 6'4" 25 year old trapped in a 5'2", 67 year old body. what I lack in height, I make up for with my razor sharp wit 😉. I've been single for three years now, and feel it's time I found someone to go out and have some fun with. Someone to go out for meals, walks by the sea or in the countryside. Someone to go to concerts with, or just for coffee and cake, and a bit of people watching.
Most of all, I'm looking for someone who is willing to give me a push on the swings if nobody's watching.
I'll just get this out of the way: I have a few health issues and my mobility is a bit crap. I use a walking stick when I'm out and about.
I enjoy a walk in the country or along the seafront, but I can't walk too far, and I can't dance. I can't sing either, but that doesn't stop me.
I'm often mistaken for a Hollywood film star. It's ET, but you have to take what you can get don't you?
I consider myself to be kind, compassionate, funny, loyal, down to earth, intelligent and a fairly good cood. I'm easy going, but I don't suffer fools. I don't take myself too seriously and I have a dry, sometimes quirky; often sarcastic; occasionally obscure sense of humour. I like all kinds of comedy, I'm a big Monty Python fan. I enjoy watching documentaries, and I'm very interested in science and how the universe works. I'm also a sci-fi fan, Star Trek being a favourite, but I don't dress up or speak Klingon.
I have an eclectic taste in music, and I like anything from ABBA to ZZ Top, including classical and hard rock.

I want to meet someone who is kind, compassionate, caring, patient and funny. Not too tall, but it isn't a deal breaker.
I'd like someone who is happy to talk about anything. For me no subject is off limits. We can't agree on everything, how dull would that be? My political views are to the left. But I'm always happy to listen to other people's viewpoint, unless their views are bigoted. I'm quite tolerant, but I have my limits.
I'm looking for a dog lover without a dog, as mine can be quite reactive. It's a shame, because she could have lots of dog friends. She's great with people, though. And she loves children, but I only let her have 2 a week, because I don't want her getting fat.

A lot of people look up to celebrities or sports people, I've always looked up to my Dad. He is the biggest inspiration not just to me but to a lot of people. He's the most positive person I have ever met, even though he's been through some really tough times and still continues to face challenges. He always remains happy and upbeat and he has no idea how many of my bad days he's got me through with his advice and positivity.

I first met Dave at the Astronaut training school. He was very keen but unfortunately failed the height test, as did I. We both drowned our sorrows and decided that NASA can go themselves. On a more serious note, this man is an inspiration to me. I have known him for over 30 years and he is the most positive person I have ever met. We have a similar sense of humour, unfortunately not everyone gets it. He has been through a lot, both mentally and physically and still laughs at life. Passionate, funny, intelligent. His sons friends think he's cool, and you can't get much cooler than that. He is an absolute diamond, you need to get to know him! Please form an orderly queue.
