About her
For inspiration on what to write here this site suggests I answer a few questions, one being my dislikes. High on my dislike list is writing about myself, so this is off to a great start. 😂
I think most who know me would describe me as being kind, protective and generous with those I consider my friends and loved ones, including the fluffy four legged variety. I value honesty above anything and I am a firm believer in treating others the way I would like to be treated myself. Music is the medicine to my emotions, it’s what I turn to no matter what I’m feeling, and I plan my year around music festivals and gigs. My other interests include escaping into the world of film and television, socialising with friends/family and going out for meals with them. Politically I’m on the left of things, and think I would find it difficult making any sort of meaningful connection with anyone with a firm stance on the right, as I believe political alinement says a lot about the type of person they are, for instance their level of compassion and greed. I think I will finish by sharing openly that I am slightly dyslexic, so if my spelling, grammar or punctuation is below par that is why. Hopping to find some like minded people that have similar interests.

Honesty is very important to me. So my ideal match would be someone open and honest, understanding and genuinely interested in getting to know me, as well as letting me get to know them. Someone who is willing to show mutual respect and be honest about what they want. I’d love to find someone with similar interests as me, especially in music (predominantly rock/metal) who would enjoy going to gigs and festivals. But then I have had many connections with people with different interests, so that is more a preference or hope, rather than being a deal breaker. What I would consider a deal breaker is selfishness, anyone who shows they have no empathy or Conscience, someone who can cheat, lie and ghost someone without having the decency of telling them why. Before you think that latter is some insight into some past personal trauma of mine, it is not, but I have had that happen to people I care about and I think it’s unnecessary and cruel. I think the key to making relationships work is to treat each other as equals, have understanding and try looking at things from the others perspective. But I believe the most important key to making any relationship work is communication.
